Babette Turk raises her flock of Karakuls on her Ranch in California and since 1982 Letty Klein has been raising Karakuls in Michigan! Deborah shares about the livestock conservancy's mission, the Shave'em to Save'em program, the importance of preserving these awesome heritage breeds, and some of her favorite projects created with the wool of these rare sheep!

On this week’s episode I chatted with Kristin from Local Farm Mom, she raises Horned Dorset sheep on her farm in Ohio. Kristin is a mom and farmer with an amazing blog full of recipes and a private cooking business. During the interview she shares all about her flock of sheep, her cooking business, how to deal with losses of animals on the farm with kids and a yummy recipe!
